Jacqueline Deane practices in the Tax Litigation Team.
Jacqueline is a specialist litigator with particular expertise, and extensive experience and involvement, in the conduct of large scale litigation, including large scale document management, particularly in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and Federal Court of Australia, as well as the conduct of matters across a range of courts and tribunals.
Jacqueline has a sound working knowledge of and experience in Court practice and procedure and obtaining evidence. She has extensive experience in banking and finance litigation including debt recovery and insolvency related litigation, including acting for lenders and liquidators.
Jacqueline has worked as in-house legal counsel in the dispute resolution teams of 2 major banks. She has conducted Taxation Appeal proceedings before the Federal Court of Australia and the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
