Junior Lawyer - Tax (Argyle)

Due to our continued success and growth, we are now seeking a Junior Lawyer to work with our Tax Advisory team.

As a key member of the Tax Advisory team you will be providing taxation advice in relation to all aspects of Federal and State taxes, including international tax aspects. Our client base ranges from high net worth individuals and SMEs to large corporations from across a number of industries.

To be successful in this role you will bring with you:

  • 1-2 years PQE
  • Qualifications in Law and either Commerce or Accounting
  • Experience in a commercial law firm or accounting firm
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for tax
  • A willingness to learn

Lawyer – Corporate Commercial (PLN)

 

PLN, a division of Argyle Lawyers, specialises in international business law in Australia and the various countries between Australia and Hawaii, including Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Samoa. We are also the regional coordination office for the law firms which constitute the Pacific Legal Network.

Argyle Lawyers is one of only two publicly listed Law Firms in Australia and with representative offices throughout the Pacific, our business is expanding and with expansion comes opportunities.

Due to our continued success and growth, we are now seeking a corporate commercial lawyer with at least 2 years' PQE experience to join our PLN team.

Our PLN team acts for a variety of high-profile clients including telecommunications companies, major financial institutions, exporting entities, entrepreneurs, offshore entities and other major corporates.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • have proven experience in general commercial corporate transactions and/or banking/finance
  • be adaptable and able to work autonomously as well as within a larger team
  • have sound drafting skills, be computer literate and have strong attention to detail
  • possess a desire to develop strong client management and relationship skills
  • demonstrate a “can-do” and “will-do” attitude
