December 2008 Super funds allowed to Borrow!
Recent new laws allow super funds to borrow. In the financial year ended 30 June 2007 Australia saw the largest ever influx of cash into superannuation but in September this year the new law [Section 67(4A) of the SIS Act] heralded the second greatest influx, all of it to be borrowed! New section 67(4A) of the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act allows a super fund, whether public offer or self managed, to borrow for the purpose of making an investment

"Excited about Superannuation Borrowing?"
"Investment Management Manna from Government Super Heaven"
"Why the Argyle Debt Instalment Trust"
