Acting for a publicly listed company in the acquisition of a significant commercial office property which involved masking the identity of the buyer, negotiating the refurbishment of the building, negotiating an agreement for lease and the successful on-sale of the property to a listed property trust.
Acting for a property developer in the acquisition of an interest in a harbourside development site which resulted in considerable savings in stamp duty and reduction in the funding required for the project, negotiation of the joint venture arrangement and division of the property upon completion of the development.
The use of and development of multiple option concepts to assist property investors acquire and dispose of property in a tax effective manner.
The acquisition of an interest in a unit trust which owned a significant commercial/industrial development site and advising on the complexities of the land rich entity aspects of the NSW Duties Act.
Acting for a tenant in commercial lease negotiations and advising regarding building due diligence which revealed defects in the operation of the air conditioning and lifts services.
