Judith
Sutton, BA, LLB - Senior Associate
Judith
graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction.
She is currently undertaking a Masters in Tax through ATAX at the University
of New South Wales with a focus on Australian Taxation Office policy and
procedure. She has achieved a high distinction average and also received
the Thompson ATP Postgraduate Award for the best performance across several
subjects.
A member of the Employment and Industrial Law Committee for Young Lawyers
and a former mentor for High School students in a Young Lawyers Initiative
Law Society Program, Lawyers Encouraging and Assisting Promising Students.
Judith has expertise in all areas of tax practice including strategy,
negotiating settlements and payment arrangements with the ATO, taxation
and commercial litigation, preparation of objections, drafting written
submissions to the ATO and managing ATO audits and investigations, liaising
with the ATO and making voluntary disclosures.
